Counseling for Emotional Health.PNG

The soul is one of the most important yet neglected parts of who we are.  The soul is comprised of our mind, will, emotions, imagination and intellect and suffers from emotional damage stemming from trauma.

At some point women will all encounter some form of trauma, whether in our immediate families, generationally or environmentally. When left unaddressed, the prolonged  after-effects of trauma can take an extreme toll on women's health, leaving deep invisible wounds and scars within the soul that impact your physical health and spiritual walk with God.

The Impact of Invisible Soul Wounds

Soul wounds create openings that often lead to inner emotional distress that have been associated with a number of mental health illnesses.  Common soul wounds include: Trauma, PTSD, Worry, Panic, Stress, Anxiety, Terror, Sadness, Loneliness, Sorrow, Guilt, Self-Condemnation, Despair, Embarrassment, Humiliation, Worthlessness, Unworthiness, Devastation, Jealousy, Irritability, Depression, Emotional Overreaction, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or OCD, Lost Time, Hearing Voices, Self-hate, Self-Harm (cutting), Suicidal Thoughts or Attempts or Emotional Shutdown.

How does the process of healing inner soul wounds work?

Visits are conducted over Simple Practice secure video, Zoom or in person. We will rely on the work of the Holy Spirit, as well as invite Jesus Christ to come in to heal the wounded part in you to take the hurt & pain away.

Through a personal one-on-one private session, I work with you to identify major soul wounds (traumatic events) in your life where the enemy has gained legal ground to torment your mind and body.  Prayer, fasting, bible reading, explaining curses and soul ties, anointing oil and holy communion may also be incorporated into the session. More than one session may be necessary to work through the following areas:

  • Breaking generational curses

  • Breaking off occult activities

  • Breaking off curses of witchcraft

  • Breaking destructive emotions (pride, rejection, anger, hate, fear, depression, isolation, self-hatred, addiction, lust and rebellion)

  • Breaking off demonic behavior (Curses of National, Ethnic, Racial Origin, murder, death, destruction, amusements (gambling), finances (love of money) and The Spirit of Jezebel/Ahab)

  • Breaking off curses of physical and mental infirmities

  • Forgiving others & yourself for what they have done to you

  • Forgiveness to break off sexual sins & soul ties

  • Teach you how to do self inner healing

Here's what happened to my client Tina when she embarked on her soul healing journey.

Tina was a middle-aged Christian woman who came to see me due to feelings associated with depression. During our first session, I explored her family history and identified blockages that were preventing her from moving forward. One of the main issues that she shared was that she had not been able to cry for years and did not know why.  Tina shared that she had tried everything to make herself cry including watching sad movies, but nothing seemed to work. Further exploration revealed that she was harboring unforgiveness in her soul from childhood. Tina's inner trauma was connected to deep emotional wounds stemming from her mother. For the first time, Tina became aware of the unforgiveness. I joined with her in prayer and as we prayed, inner healing came, along with a floodgate of tears. Tina laughed and cried at the same time because of the freedom she felt of being healed from this soul wound. Just like Tina, you too can be set free. Sessions such as these are peaceful, very thorough and absolutely confidential.

Reaching Out to the Sun

"The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity].

Luke 4:18
